You can do better than #MediocreWhiteMan confidence šŸ˜‰

(But You Wonā€™t Get There with Just Hard Work)

Take the first step toward real confidence with the RMPĀ®

Youā€™ve seen it before

The way some people walk into rooms like they own the place.

The way they apply for jobs theyā€™re only half-qualified for.

The way they never second-guess themselves, even when they probably should.

They move through the world with high self-efficacy and psychological safety.

Meanwhile...
You are working twice as hard, showing up twice as prepared, and still wondering if you belong.

šŸ›‘ Stop trying to "just put yourself out there" šŸ›‘

KNOW THYSELF FIRST

šŸšØ Your self-doubt was never yours to begin with. šŸšØ

It was handed to youā€”by systems that benefit from your hesitation, by workplaces that demand perfection from you but not from others, by a culture that praises confidence in some and calls it arrogance in others.

Over time, you started believing that if you just worked harder, achieved more, or "fixed" yourself, the doubt would go away (and you would win). But it never does, and it puts you on the losing side.

Because the real issue isnā€™t that you lack confidence. Itā€™s that your self-perception has been distorted. This is like navigating life with a broken compass.

When you are clear on who you are, you finally see whatā€™s been keeping you stuck:

šŸ”¹ The beliefs that were never yours to begin with.

You start to recognize which doubts, fears, and expectations were internalized from your environmentā€”and what a more empowering belief would be when you see yourself clearly.

šŸ”¹ What you actually need to thrive.

No more chasing every wellness hack, productivity trick, or external solution. You stop outsourcing your decisions and start trusting yourself to know what works for you.

šŸ”¹ What real confidence looks like.

Not the kind that comes from proving yourself or pleasing others, but the kind that comes from knowing yourself. When youā€™re no longer seeking validation, confidence isnā€™t something you ā€œbuildā€ā€”itā€™s something you naturally embody.

The Treasure at Your Core šŸ’Ž (And Why You Canā€™t See It Yet)

At the center of who you are, thereā€™s a core self that isnā€™t tied to achievements, external validation, or what youā€™ve been conditioned to believe about yourself.

That core is your treasure.

But most people never get to itā€”because itā€™s buried under two layers:

šŸ’ Who you are afraid to be

This is where the distortion happens. Youā€™ve been told that parts of you are ā€œtoo muchā€ or ā€œnot enough.ā€

So you shrink. You doubt. You keep questioning yourself.

šŸŽ Who you pretend to be

This is the mask. The version of you that works overtime to fit in. The one who fakes confidence, plays by the rules, and contorts themselves to be more ā€œacceptable.ā€

You think this keeps you safe, but reallyā€”itā€™s a trap.

Because the longer you wear the mask, the further away you get from yourself.

The real confidence youā€™re looking for is underneath all of this.

The Fear of Letting Go

(Why You Stay Stuck in the Mask)

Hereā€™s a lesson that took me 20 years to learn: your confidence issues donā€™t come from a lack of effort.

They come from not seeing yourself clearly.

  • If you donā€™t know what truly drives you, youā€™ll keep second-guessing every decision.

  • If you donā€™t know what your core desires are, youā€™ll keep pushing yourself in ways that exhaust you instead of energizing you.

  • If you donā€™t honor your unique motivations, youā€™ll keep trying to force yourself into roles that were never meant for you.

We love the idea of getting to know ourselves, but most of us avoid the real workā€”not because weā€™re lazy, but because weā€™re afraid.

Afraid of what we might find.
Afraid that self-awareness will mean dismantling parts of our identity.
Afraid that if we strip away the expectations, weā€™ll have nothing left to hold onto.

I did this work for years before I found the RMPĀ®. And let me tell youā€”it was exhausting.

Because when all you have is self-reflection, itā€™s easy to spiral into self-criticism.
Itā€™s easy to look at your shadow and only see contradictions and flaws.
Itā€™s easy to fall into the trap of fixing yourself instead of understanding yourself.

āœØ This is the beauty of the Reiss Motivation ProfileĀ® (RMPĀ®) and the way I use it.

  • I donā€™t help you suppress your contradictionsā€”I help you integrate them.

  • I donā€™t help you fix your weaknessesā€”I help you understand why they were never weaknesses to begin with.

  • I donā€™t teach you how to force confidenceā€”I show you how to build the kind that comes from knowing yourself fully.

āš” You donā€™t need more effort. You need more clarity. āš”

And clarity is exactly what the RMPĀ® gives you.

šŸ‘€ The Moment of Truth: Do You Keep Playing Yourself, or Do You Finally See Yourself?

Right now, you have two choices:

šŸŽ Stay in the Performance.
Keep overthinking, overcompensating, and hoping that one day youā€™ll feel ā€œready.ā€

šŸ”‘ Get to the Core.
Take the test. Get clear on what truly drives you. Learn how to work with yourself instead of against yourself. And step into a version of confidence that doesnā€™t feel forced.

šŸ”„ The first step? Take the test! šŸ”„

šŸ’” What is the Reiss Motivation ProfileĀ® (RMPĀ®)?

The Most Powerful Self-Knowledge Tool Youā€™ve Never Heard Of

The RMPĀ® is a scientifically validated test that reveals:

āœ… Your core desires ā€“ the things that fuel your confidence & energy.

āœ… Your behaviour - what drives your emotions and shapes your personality

And I use it to help you learn:

āœ… Where you're misaligned ā€“ why you keep hitting the same walls.

āœ… How to work with yourself instead of against yourself.

āœ… How to create meaning, value and purpose based on what really matters to you.

This isnā€™t another "positive mindset" trick. Itā€™s about hard dataā€”showing you exactly who you are and why your struggles arenā€™t random.

You donā€™t need to ā€œfixā€ yourself. You need to understand yourself.

šŸ”„ Reclaim Your Power ā€“ Go Deeper with the RMPĀ®

If youā€™ve spent your life feeling:

āŒ Misunderstoodā€”like no one quite ā€œgetsā€ what drives you.
āŒ Out of placeā€”like youā€™re playing by rules that were never made for you.
āŒ Guilt-ridden & ashamedā€”pushing yourself out of obligation, not desire.
āŒ Trapped in procrastinationā€”because traditional ā€œmotivationā€ techniques donā€™t work for you.

šŸšØ This is not a mindset issue. Itā€™s a self-knowledge issue. šŸšØ

Learn how to stop:

āš” Settling for less than you deserve.
āš” Overcompensating to prove your worth.
āš” Fighting your own nature instead of embracing it.

You already know the cost of staying in the performance šŸŽ

FAQs

Why are desires so important?

The Reiss Motivation ProfileĀ® is the only tool for self-discovery that has been scientifically developed and validated.

Our desires determine how we seek fulfillment.

There's no need to guess or go on a trip to find yourself (unless you want to).

It can be a lot quicker and simpler because we are all motivated by the same 16 desires.

The RMPĀ® recognizes that we all desire the same things, but not to the same extent.

This is what determines your inner motivation, your personality, and your relationship dynamics

I also believe that this is the root of our inner conflict.

Just because the desire is in you, it doesn't mean that you honour and prioritize it.

In fact, the root of the impostor syndrome can be traced back to this.

If we were clear on our desires and honoured them as we should, we would never wonder if we have what it takes, or if we deserve to be in the room.

It would be easier to handle the real, external obstacles that we face without letting that affect the perception we have of ourselves or our capacity.

It would be easier to know that when we feel resistance, it's not because we are not trying hard enough. We are probably resisting because the situation is not in alignment with our desires.

Is this another one of those self-help programs that tells me I need to think better thoughts and have positive feelings?

Nope.

One of the things I love about desires and the RMPĀ® is that your desires are ALWAYS finding a way to express themselves, so your scores have nothing to do with how good or bad your life is right now.

In fact, you will experience so much relief after you see your scores because you'll realize that a lot of the frustration in your life comes from forcing yourself to act against your core desires.

If you want to work with affirmations, this is essential. Affirmations only work when the emotion behind them is real. Once you stop associating misalignment with your self-worth, you can feel positive about your ability to change your life.

What is the purpose of taking the test if I can read the free guide and figure it out by myself?

While you might have an idea of which desires matter to you (some of them can be so obvious!) the test will give you more accuracy in your self-assessment.

There's a reason we struggle with our self-worth. We are not able to see ourselves clearly, and the way we cope with that feeling is by controlling everything we do and setting impossible standards for ourselves (or, the complete opposite, we remain stuck).

The RMPĀ® takes out the guesswork of the eternal question: Who are you?

And, unlike other personality tests, your scores will answer that by focusing on the things where you rank OUTSIDE THE AVERAGE. It is very likely that your feelings of inadequacy are coming from these desires.

The RMPĀ® will tell you how you are not like most people and HOW THAT MAKES YOU AMAZING...SO YOU CAN FINALLY LEVERAGE THAT instead of thinking that you need to tone it down or suppress it!

I am in therapy/already using healing modalities to overcome my perfectionism, workaholism, high-functioning anxiety and/or depression...how would this help?

The RMPĀ® is an excellent complement to therapy! While I am not a mental health professional and the RMPĀ® is not used to diagnose mental illness, understanding your desires can help you let go of old narratives that are keeping you small and stuck.

In my experience, the first thing people experience when they see their RMPĀ® results is RELIEF.

There was never anything wrong with them.

Their desires are perfectly valid (I mean, you now have the stats to prove it!)

All the stuff they thought made zero sense and that needed to be "fixed" (How can I be so smart and lazy/impulsive?) will start to make a lot of sense. The issue has never been about your brokenness - it's that you are trying to live life in ways that go against your wiring (aka desires).

They can stop forcing themselves to be a "higher version of themselves". The higher version of you is not a version that is different from who you are right now. Your higher version is whoever you are right now, minus the critiquing! Your higher self is you, in total approval and appreciation of yourself.
